AN AFTERNOON AT

STUDIO GOOD VIBE TRIBE

Angela Shireman of Good Vibe Tribe jewelry, a silversmith of bespoke jewelry.

I had the absolute pleasure of spending an afternoon with a dear friend, Angela Shireman of Good Vibe Tribe Jewelry at her in home studio. Nestled on the Grand Mesa of Colorado’s Western Slope, Angie, a silversmith who specializes in creating custom soul felt silver jewelry shared her inspiration and process of her art.

As Angie created, I observed and we chatted about jewelry and art but mostly about connection. Connection to others, ourselves, nature, the universe…. As I snapped photos, I was overcome with the sense that this beautiful space was filled with not only gorgeous light, interesting instruments and tools, but also a sense of peace, belonging, healing and self awareness.

In between jewelry processing we had an impromptu meditation session with two of the cutest little yogis! Creativity, love, peace and Ram’s presence filled the studio

It was magical discovering pieces of Angie’s story and inspiration throughout the studio.

Here, Angie holds her grandfather’s paint brush in hand. Watercolor is another creative passion that she enjoys just as her grandfather did. The connection is almost palpable.

A completed piece…a simple yet fitting message…be.
